Book orders and purchase orders

I turned in a book order in mid January...and just got word last week that the county gave a Purchase Order number for the amount.

I only ordered about 120 books. That's a pittance compared to the richie-rich schools in my district.

I went to Barnes & Noble and dropped $100 on books that can be checked out by next Monday.

At least my kids have something new to read before spring break.

Maybe we'll get the new books (that my kids, who never read/cared about books/knew the exciting lives available through reading before I came along) are salivating for, and have been for weeks.

I can sympathize with 100(ish) books per order years. Thankfully they have been few and far between. If you have the time to do it, doing your own processing can help you stretch the dollars a bit more.

Of course it'd be so much easier to just have Follett do it.

I prefer doing my own processing for my own fussy, anal rigors. I just get sick of how ppl sit on the order/purchase order/etc. for weeks, then blankly state, "Oh, gee, I tooooootally forgot about it."

Wow, imagine being able to order 120 books!

Or even merely going to the store and spending $100 on books and know you'll get the money back.

Wow. Sounds nice. I'm jealous!
